I Haven't Received My License Email — What Should I Do?

Created by Matthew Keysell, Modified on Thu, 2 Apr at 6:34 PM by Matthew Keysell

If you have placed your order but have not received an email with your licence or instructions, do not worry. Your order is usually still being processed, delivered, or held for review. Follow the steps below before opening a ticket.

Step 1: Check the Checkout Confirmation Page

Your licence key or account assignment details are often shown on the checkout confirmation page immediately after purchase.

If you still have that page open, or if you can log in to your account and view your order, your licence details may already be available there.

Step 2: Check Your Spam or Junk Folder

Order emails can occasionally be filtered by spam protection.

Please check your spam or junk folder and search for emails from GetRenewedTech. If you find the email there, mark it as Not Spam so future emails arrive in your inbox correctly.

Step 3: Check the Email Address Used at Checkout

Make sure the email address entered at checkout was correct.

If the email address was entered incorrectly, or if you used a different address than expected, your order email may not reach you.

Step 4: Allow Time for Processing

Delivery times depend on the type of product ordered.

Microsoft Orders

Microsoft orders are usually fulfilled automatically. In many cases, your licence key and instructions are shown on the checkout confirmation page shortly after purchase and are also sent by email.

However, some Microsoft orders may be delayed if they are placed into additional security checks.

Autodesk Orders

Autodesk orders are manually assigned by our team and can take longer to complete. These orders may also be delayed if they are placed into security checks before assignment.

When to Wait Until

Please allow up to 12 hours before opening a ticket on our helpdesk for either Microsoft or Autodesk orders.

This is especially important for orders placed outside business hours, during weekends, or where additional security checks are required.

Step 5: For Autodesk Orders, Check Your Autodesk Account

For Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Fusion 360, or Maya, your product is usually assigned to your Autodesk account email address rather than sent as a traditional licence key.

After assignment, sign in to your Autodesk account and check whether the product appears there.

If you do not already have an Autodesk account, you can create one using the same email address used for your order, then check again once processing has completed.

Step 6: Open a Ticket If 12 Hours Have Passed

If more than 12 hours have passed and you still cannot find your licence, instructions, or Autodesk assignment, please open a ticket on our helpdesk.

When opening your ticket, include:

  • Your order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • A short description of what you have or have not received

This will help our team locate your order and assist you as quickly as possible.

Order Number Format

Your order number is shown on your checkout confirmation page and in any emails we send you. It will usually begin with a regional prefix such as:

  • GBP- for UK orders
  • EUR- for European orders
  • CAD- for Canadian orders
  • USD- for US orders
  • AUD- for Australian orders

Having your order number ready will help us find your order faster.
