Which Autodesk Version Should I Install? (2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026)

Overview

Your Autodesk licence from Get Renewed Tech gives you access to multiple versions of the software. For example, an AutoCAD licence lets you install AutoCAD 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. You can choose which version to install based on your needs.

Which Version Should I Choose?

Choose This	If You Need
Latest version (e.g. 2026)	The newest features and interface updates. Best if your computer meets the system requirements and you don't need to share files with users on older versions.
Previous version (e.g. 2025)	More stability and wider compatibility. A good choice if the latest version has just been released and you prefer to wait for initial bugs to be resolved.
Older version (e.g. 2023 or 2024)	Compatibility with an older computer, older operating system, or if you work with clients/colleagues who use a specific version.

Can I Install More Than One Version?

Yes. You can install multiple versions side by side on the same computer. For example, you could have both AutoCAD 2025 and AutoCAD 2026 installed at the same time. This is useful if you need to work on projects that require a specific version.

How to Install Your Chosen Version

Go to https://manage.autodesk.com/products
Sign in with the email address your licence is assigned to
Click Products and Services
Find your product in the list
Select the version you want from the dropdown
Click Install and follow the on-screen instructions

System Requirements

Newer versions may require a more recent operating system. If you are unsure whether your computer can run a specific version, check the Autodesk System Requirements page.

Key points:

AutoCAD 2026 requires Windows 10 (64-bit) version 21H2 or later, or Windows 11
Mac versions are available for AutoCAD only (not all Autodesk products support macOS)
Older macOS versions may only support older AutoCAD versions
