Overview
If you need your Autodesk licence moved to a different email address — for example, because you have changed your email, are transferring the licence to a colleague, or set up your Autodesk account with the wrong address — our support team can help.
Can I Do This Myself?
No. Autodesk licences are tied to the Autodesk account (email address) they were originally assigned to. You cannot reassign or transfer a licence to a different email address on your own. This must be done by our support team on your behalf.
How to Request a Transfer
Contact our support team by email:
Email: support@lmautoparts.co.uk
Please include the following details in your request:
- Your order number (if available)
- The current email address the licence is assigned to
- The new email address you want the licence moved to
- The product name (e.g. AutoCAD 2024, Revit 2025, AEC Collection)
- The reason for the transfer (helps us process it faster)
What Happens Next
- Our team will verify your identity and ownership of the licence
- We will contact Autodesk to process the reassignment
- Once complete, the new email address will have access to the licence
- You will receive confirmation by email once the transfer is done
How Long Does It Take?
Most licence transfers are completed within 1–3 business days, depending on Autodesk's processing times. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
Important Notes
- The new email address must have (or create) an Autodesk account to receive the licence
- Once transferred, the licence will no longer be accessible from the original email address
- If you are transferring to someone else, please ensure they are aware and have set up their Autodesk account beforehand
