Using Your Licence

The ex-educational Autodesk licences we sell give full access to the software with all features enabled and no watermarks. The software works identically to a commercial licence.

Is This Licence Different from a Commercial Licence?

In terms of functionality, no. You get the same applications, the same tools, and the same output. Files you create will not be watermarked or restricted in any way.

The licence type on your Autodesk account may display as educational, but this does not limit what you can do with the software.

Thousands of Customers Use These Licences

We have sold tens of thousands of these licences and the vast majority of our customers are professionals and businesses, not students. Eligibility is not checked by GetRenewedTech or Autodesk.

One Thing to Keep in Mind

If you ever contact Autodesk support for help, we recommend not discussing your licence type with them. In very rare cases, if a customer explicitly tells Autodesk that they are using an educational licence for commercial purposes, Autodesk may remove the licence from the account.

If this were to happen, contact our support team and we will either reassign the licence or issue a refund.
