What Does Ex-Educational Mean?
The Autodesk licences we supply are ex-educational licences. This means the licence originally came from Autodesk’s educational channel and has since been reassigned.
What Do You Receive?
An ex-educational Autodesk licence provides:
- Access to the Autodesk software linked to your order
- Download access through Autodesk
- Assignment directly to your Autodesk account
How Does the Software Work?
In normal use, the software functions in the same way as expected for the product, and customers are able to install and use it through their Autodesk account.
Will the Licence Type Be Visible?
In some cases, Autodesk may show the licence type within the account or inside the software, for example as Educational or Non-Commercial. This wording may appear in certain account, licence, or product information screens.
Why Are These Licences Cheaper?
These licences are offered at a lower price than buying directly from Autodesk, which is why they are a more affordable option for many customers.
